Get out your shovels folks cause this shit is DEEP: according to Park Slope Patch, two days before the PPW bike lane trial of the century is scheduled to hit the stand, Borough Pres Marty Markowitz had a stupid idea is filing an affidavit claiming he heard DOT Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan make a statement to him and two of his staff members calling the PPW bike lane a "trial" project.

BIKE WARS: Hitler Apparently Supports the PPW Bike Lanes

Since the other day was National Bike to Work Day, I would like to take this opportunity to pluck the string of something I haven't harped on in a while: the PPW Bike Lane (Shock! Awe!). 

But this time, I'm a little confused (Shock again). This parody video came across my email. In it someone  took the 2004 German movie, Downfall and superimposed English subtitles where Hitler is in FULL-BLOWN support of Bike Lanes on the PPW.
