COOL OR NOT COOL: A BABY TAX IN RESTAURANTS?

By way of Gothamist comes word of a restaurant in London that apparently recently charged some chick and her 6-week old bebe a "tax" for simply breastfeeding her kid and taking up space with her gigantic SUV stroller. 

"Natasha Young brought her six-week old son to Cosmo, a large chain restaurant in London, to breast-feed him. When she received her bill, there was a £3 (about $5) charge tacked on, reportedly because her stroller was taking up space."

Needless to say, this chick went bonkers, yelled "STOP THE PRESSES" and took her story to every news outlet that would listen to her whine and moan. At which point the restaurant apologized and explained that their "tax" is actually not for babies or strollers but for toddlers who eat some food, but not as much as kids who order meals.

NYC Women Giving The Finger To Baby Making

Well, well, well: apparently we've got quite a few BALLERS roaming the streets of NYC.

Some think tank called the Center for Work-Life Policy did a little study and uncovered the fact that 43% of college educated women between the ages of 33 and 46 are childless. Though you're not really supposed to say "childless" cause apparently the correct term is "childfree." Childless means people who want to have kids but can't or don't, and childfree means you don't have kids by choice (frankly, I still prefer BALLER).

It doesn't seem like the thinktank differentiated between the two, so hard to tell how that 43% shakes out, but it's kinda interesting that almost half the women in that age-group are sans bebes. Now I'm off to go look at STFU Parents and Shit My Kids Ruined to remind myself why I'm gonna be a BALLER4LIFE.
