Get Your Park Slope Swag At Enamoo

Was strolling along Smith Street the other day and stumbled into Enamoo, a pretty sweet & over priced antique/clothing/weird naked barbie doll art boutique. They even offer some nice Park Slope swag, complete with creepy babies! Despite the cost, I still bought a hoodie because it had a dog on it, and dogs are awesome.

Oh and if you want to appear more attractive/artsy in photos but aren't cool enough to have an iphone or Instagram like Erica, you should download Vignette on your droid so you can be a poser like me.

My man and I have been asking each other this question with increasing regularity. For a lot of reasons not the least of which is because the freight on an extra bedroom in Park Slope gives me a nosebleed to contemplate. 

And for what?

To be surrounded by the most odious (and alternately gemütlich) people on the planet?

To have my calendar overrun with Food Coop shifts and cooperator meetings of the Lake Huntington Summer Community and emergency redecorate the lobby meetings of our apartment coop?

Because, God help me, I can't see myself anywhere else?

Since everyone who lives in Park Slope is a self-righteous know-it-all, it would only make sense that we would have some killer trivia nights around here, right?

I do Trivia Night in the East Village under the handle "Trivia Newton-John" (don't steal it), so I can't comment on any of the ones around here, but here's a short list of popular trivia spots in the neighborhood.

Yo, can nobody hold onto their shit anymore in this stupid neighborhood?

Here's a poster from the 7th Avenue F train station, where someone lost a Black Swan-esque umbrella and is "totally heartbroken over the loss."

That's the Park Slope I know and love: war, earthquakes, and nuclear radiation ain't gonna stop your game when you lose your beloved duck umbrella.
