[MY FAVORITE PARK SLOPE...]: PLACE TO WATCH THE WORLD GO BY
This one is so easy, it's almost not fair.
Hands down, my fave spot to people watch is Seven Nails at the corner of Union and 7th Ave.
Have you ever been in this joint?

Here's an interesting idea: what if there were one person (or a board) in charge of ALL the retail space in the neighborhood. So like, before another business could sign on the dotted line and move into a space, this person (or board) would need to decide if they wanted another burger joint/pizza place/cell phone shop/etc. to come into the neighborhood...or not.
Who knew you could get organic beauty products at Back to the Land? Or rent backpacks, lanterns and other outdoorsy stuff from new shop Gear to Go! And take day trips! (well, actually we did know that, cause they're offering a rad FIPS Deal! Check it: you can get 20% off one of their day hikes just by mentioning FIPS).
Anyway, Park Slope ain't just all about Fifth Ave. SEVENTH AVE, RESPECT!
Brownstoner came out with a non-scientific list of our borough's best hardware stores...and three of em were in Park Slope:
Pintchik (478 Bergen Street) came in at number 4; Tarzian Hardware (193 7th Avenue) came in at number 5 and R&A Houseware (109 5th Avenue) came in at number 9.
Just outside the borders of Park Slope, Greschler’s (660 5th Avenue) tied for number 10.
Did they miss any? (this would probs be an appropriate spot for some "nailing it on the head" joke, no?).
Maybe we should think about switching up the venue of our BK Hookup singles events from the Bell House to Blue Apron...cause apparently there are some folks gettin busy there.
In last week's NYT's Vows column, Amy Sohn recounts the story of how Steve Rosenbush met his bride Laura Hwang (duck rillettes were involved).
