Now get back to me on whether or not you think moms get special fucking privileges in the workplace.

Meanwhile, my ass is about to go out into the tundra to trek through the motherfucking snow, sardine myself onto an overcrowded train, and sit around and smile at everyone like a give a shit.  Would I rather be home in my goddamned snuggie? Watching "Regis & Kelly" while I "work?" Uh....yeah.

First Snow Storm: Winter Oh Eight: NEVER FORGET

Holy Shit is it Snowing

I came to work today - big mistake.

First of all, it's like a fucking ghost town in here. Who can blame them; this morning was one of those rare occasions you just look up and feel in your bones that the weatherman was right.

Look outside: it's dumping. And to think that 72 hours ago was a mild day of Al Gore summer.

Here's what I want to ask:

• Did you get off work today? How did you swing that?


• Is your boss "all good" with it? Passive Aggressive?


• Do you feel you're as productive "working from home" i.e. "with no pants"


• If you're a manager, do you feel that your employees are as productive when working from home?

If you're a manager answering that final question, remember to factor-in the net productivity effect of each employee's time spent holding their genitals and watching the second showcase-showdown.
