This Weekend: Park Slope Streets Host Stroller Scavenger Hunt

Got a wee one under the age of 5 and an accompanying stroller? Consider signing up for the WeComeToAmerika Stroller Scavenger Hunt that centers on the education of immigrant history in the neighborhood. The game will be played with an interactive smart phone application, and will incorporate historical facts,archival images and the talents of actors and musicians at certain checkpoints. You can register HERE. They're also giving away a free stroller, y'all.

Though let us not fear the bugaboo invasion, for it will only last one day.  

The hunt goes down on Sunday, July 24th @ 10AM and costs $20/Family.

Got a sordid, sad or succulently sweet tale to tell? If so, bring your ass to Tea Lounge TONIGHT @ 7:30PM! 

I Like You, Maude is akin to other storySLAMS in NYC. Anyone can tell a story on any topic. Just show up, put your name in the hat, and if picked you have five minutes to regale the audience with your tale. The stories must be TRUE and told WITHOUT notes or paper. Don’t worry about having your story memorized! Know the beats of the story, practice it a little and have a good time.
