Williamsburg Hates Park Slope

In this photo snapped by New York Shitty's Miss Heather, Slopers are politely asked to go back to Manhattan.

My question is this: why wouldn't you just exile us back to the Slope? It's way harder to get to, and our only way of infiltration is the ugly, cross-eyed, stepchild of the MTA, affectionately named the G train. 

Apparently Manhattan sucks so bad that instead of the old addage "Go to Hell," we've just substituted "Go to Manhattan." C'mon, Brooklyn...let's get that lovin' feeling back so we can collectively bitch about how much someone would have to pay us to live in the city again.

Gowanus Artists Are Losing Their Lofts to a Park Slope School

Artists residing at the 270 Douglass Street lofts in Gowanus were IRATE upon learning that their space is going to be converted into a new charter school serving Park Slopers. The building is filled with clothing designers, photographers, and artists of other mediums who are pissed -- not at the school, but at their shady landlord (imagine that -- a shady landlord). The dude's been scheming behind their backs, replacing and moving things around in their leases so that he can kick them out at the drop of a hat.

What do cigarettes and grills in New York City have in common these days? Seems like you can't light 'em up outdoors anywhere! 

No longer can we pull the “I had no idea!” scheme when grilling anywhere the fuck we want in the park. This excuse almost always works when dealing with park rangers, parking lot security, mall cops, and any law enforcement that is upwardly mobile via Segway or horse.

A rumor surrounding Spike Lee's latest production, which is filming in our very backyard, has been leaked: Mookie is back, y’all. Via Blackfilm comes the news that Spike’s character from the classic BK film, Do The Right Thing, may be appearing in a new movie no so creatively named Red Hook Summer.
