Just when you thought Park Slope was only home to shuttering storefronts and 750 bagel shops, behold!  PSbklyn, a new restaurant taking over Bussaco's old space on Union Street, is opening this week, and sounds like it will be a mecca for parents and their children and a place to be avoided by everyone else.  Like, on a Two Boots scale.

Cheeburger Cheeburger To Take Over Miracle Grill Space

Ok, so either my bitching worked and/or we got shit totally wrong.

Cause is it turns out we are NOT getting another Chinese restaurant in the old Miracle Grill space on 7th ave and 3rd street. Nope, we're getting a Cheeburger Cheeburger!

Fuck.

Now I kinda wish we were getting a-n-o-t-h-e-r Chinese restaurant.

Ok, I want either: a Chopt style salad place or Korean Fried Chicken. But as I'm guessing Michelle Z. from Yelp isn't Korean, I'll stick with a Chopt knock off (and don't skimp on the chopping of the salad! This is key!)

Whole Foods To Park Slope: It's On Like Donkey Kong

image via CurbedYep, it's official: Whole Foods in Gowanus is happening! Rejoice in the streets all you suspended Food Coop shift workers!

The store is gonna have a 20,000sf roof garden where they're going to grow their own locally produced and cruelty-free veggies. There's going to bike parking, an electric car charging station, a waterfront esplanade and probably a fucking vegan compost mosh pit for all we know.

Anyone wanna take bets on which will be finished first? Whole Foods or Atlantic Yards?
