OPEN THREAD: Fuck Yeah, Gay Marriage!

I literally just got off a plane from LA and still have In-n-Out double doubles coursing through my veins, but I couldn't wait to get home to blog my fucking face about this: GAY MARRIAGE IS LEGAL IN NY!

A bill was passed at 11:55pm by the Republican controlled NY senate by a vote of 33 to 29 that will legalize same-sex marriage. NY will be the sixth state to do so in the U.S and, thus far, the largest. A similar bill was defeated here in 2009, and several other states including NJ, Rhode Island and Maryland could not get this shit passed in their own damn states.

Do you realize how totally fucking amazing this is, ppl? DO YOU??? Cause it is.

BROOKLYN HERO WATCH: Man Kicked Off Flight for Saying 'Fuck'

You know what fucking sucked about 9/11? I mean besides 3000 dead, the dissolution of our civil liberties, and two wars killing a million people?

What sucked is that it put the airlines in this insanely abusable position of power; it put common American citizens like Flight Attendants on the front lines of Racial and Behavioral Profiling. On a WHIM, Ashley from Minnesota can make Orwellian determinations of who does and does not have the right to travel from state to state.

Fuck.

You better believe flight attendants and other newly-crowned princes of power are able to use that power however they want; even in retaliation against a customer that pisses them off -- and that's exactly what happened here.

BREAKING: PERV ARRESTED AT KEY FOODS ON 5TH AVE

We received  a tip this morn that something shady went down at the Fifth Ave location of Key Foods and yep: it sure as hell did. From the police:

“Today at approximately 1100 hours we responded to 150 5th ave in the confines of the 78 precinct. Upon arrival we were informed that a female, white, 40 was trying to stop a male Hispanic 28 from taking pictures underneath her skirt. As she attempted to grab the suspect’s phone she injured her shoulder. She did not require or request any medical attention. The Key Food employees stopped the man in question. Police responded to the store and he was being held by the employees.”

The NY Post and Gothamist also picked up on the story.

Apparently the dude tried to run out and 4 Key Foods employees were not havin it. He was later arrested.

What the hell is going on here, ppl?

1. NICE FUCKING WORK, KEY FOOD EMPLOYEES! Thanks for grabbing this asshole.
2. This sexual assault stuff is all getting way out of hand. I'm not scared of anything, and even I'm walking around the neighborhood with my keys in in the "kill" position in one hand and my other hand on a canister of pepper spray in my purse.
3. Hope this chick is ok and that this dude stays in jail.
