[WHAT YOU SHOULD ORDER AT...] BONNIE'S GRILL

WHAT YOU SHOULD ORDER AT... is a recurring column designed in kind for your opinionated asses and our lazy asses.  We're going to pick one Park Slope resto a week and recommend our favorite dish at each.  Are we right?  Are we wrong?  YOU KNOW YOU WANNA WEIGH IN.

We all know that Bonnie's is the last place you're going to take someone if you want to impress them, but what they lack in frills, they make up in their chicken wings.

That's right, I said it.

[WHAT YOU SHOULD ORDER AT...] 12TH STREET BAR & GRILL

WHAT YOU SHOULD ORDER AT... is a recurring column designed in kind for your opinionated asses and our lazy asses.  We're going to pick one Park Slope resto a week and recommend our favorite dish at each.  Are we right?  Are we wrong?  YOU KNOW YOU WANNA WEIGH IN.

The idea of "comfort food" is usually tied in with something that your mother made.  I, unfortunately, am a complete and total stranger to that feeling because my mother could not cook anything to save her life.  If Aileen Wuornos came up to my mom and was like, "Ima kill you and your family unless you make me a really great pot roast," we would all be dead*.

Most people go home to visit and request a few of their favorite meals.  My request is usually, "Hey, can you not make anything at all?  And maybe just like, not go in the kitchen either.  Ever."

So, truly, the closest I'm ever going to get to mom's comfort food is the Lemon Thyme Roasted Chicken ($17) at 12th Street Bar & Grill (1123 Eighth Ave at 12th Street, 718-965-9526)

DINE IN BROOKLYN: GET READY

Loosen your belts, foodies.  Dine In Brooklyn starts March 21 and goes through March 31, so get ready.

It's the usual deal, $25 prix fixe for dinner, $20.11 prix fixe for lunch (what is that, a play on 2011?  COOL)—what's to hate?  Some people are even being extra-generous and offering 2 for 1 brunches/lunches at $20.11 and 2 for 1 dinners for $25.

Since the Visit Brooklyn website is retarded and doesn't have a landing page for Dine In Brooklyn (and only a downloadable PDF), we're compiling a list of participating Park Slope restaurants and the ONE Windsor Terrace one (WTG, WT!).

[WHAT YOU SHOULD ORDER AT...] BARRIO

WHAT YOU SHOULD ORDER AT... is a recurring column designed in kind for your opinionated asses and our lazy asses.  We're going to pick one Park Slope resto a week and recommend our favorite dish at each.  Are we right?  Are we wrong?  YOU KNOW YOU WANNA WEIGH IN.

Full disclosure: I may or may not have given my number to a waitress at Barrio (210 7th Ave at 3rd Street, 718-965-4000) when I was drunk once.  And I may or may not have returned months later to see that she was pregnant.  HI, I'M AN IDIOT.  CAN I HAVE A MOJITO POR FAVOR AYAYAYAYAYYYYY.

[WHAT YOU SHOULD ORDER AT...] STONE PARK CAFE

WHAT YOU SHOULD ORDER AT... is a recurring column designed in kind for your opinionated asses and our lazy asses.  We're going to pick one Park Slope resto a week and recommend our favorite dish at each.  Are we right?  Are we wrong?  YOU KNOW YOU WANNA WEIGH IN.

If you find yourself at Stone Park Cafe (324 Fifth Ave at 3rd St, 718-369-6548), that probably means that you've tricked someone into paying for you.  Well done, you!

Stone Park Cafe is hands down my favorite restaurant in Park Slope, but its prices are so high in order to eat there more than once a year, you either need to a.) make a lot of money or b.) have a sugar daddy/mama.  Neither of those things apply to me, so I don't find myself up in there very often.

But when I DO end up there, I typically go balls out and order like 15 courses and worry/cry about the bill later.  What's life without the occasional (read: constant) stupid financial decision?

A stable one, you say?

Whatever, man.

I will wile out at expensive restaurants ALL I WANT.

So, what should you order if you win the lottery and find yourself at Stone Park Cafe?
