WHAT YOU SHOULD ORDER AT... is a recurring column designed in kind for your opinionated asses and our lazy asses. We're going to pick one Park Slope resto a week and recommend our favorite dish at each. Are we right? Are we wrong? YOU KNOW YOU WANNA WEIGH IN.
There is absolutely one type of food I can never say no to, and that's Mexican. Cupcakes? Whatever. Chocolate? Who cares. Chips and guacamole? GTFO out of my way, I want that shit right now.
Fonda (434 7th Ave at 15th St, 718-369-3144) was voted the best Mexican in the neighborhood, according to you guys, and they offer up some good stuff.
OBVIOUSLY, get an order of guacamole ($10). Then get the Enchiladas Suizas ($16)—Pulled chicken-filled tortillas with creamy tomatillo sauce, baked with Chihuahua and Oaxaca cheeses.
Chihuahua cheese? Don't ask too many questions. Just order it.
WTF is the best thing you've ever had at Fonda?
