In November, seven Park Slope properties went into contract for $2 million or more. This month, which isn't even halfway over MIND YOU, two more brownstones sold for $2.5 and $3.8 million. J. Crew President Jenna Lyons' townhouse is also in contract, after she put it up for sale following a recent split from husband Vincent Mazeau. The price? Oh, I don't know -- a gajillion dollars? People would pay a gajillion dollars to live here, right?

I was kind of blown away by this anon poster on Brick Underground who claims that they made $14k on airbnb by renting out their Murray Hill apt for $99/night. All the while he/she was traveling around the world, footloose and fancy free, drinking wine in Spain and eating gelato in Italia-n-shit.

• Sq. Footage: Approx. 800
• How did you find this place?: A broker.  Wasn't too crazy about forking over that kind of cash for someone to open a door, but I've been here over 2 years, so it was worth the investment.
• Amenities: One block from the F/G train, literally right across the street from Prospect Park, amazing hardwood floors.
• Who calls this place home?: A jerk in advertising.
• What's really good about this joint?: Large kitchen and living room, tall ceilings, amazing hardwood floors, private and back-facing.
• What's really bad about this joint?: Small bedroom and bathroom, building's hallway is a bit of a disaster; it's almost never cleaned and almost always in the middle of a construction project.
