It gives me great pleasure to announce: NOT. A. ONE.
According to my inexpert comparative analysis of the changes to Park Slope between the 2000 and 2010 Censuses (is that how you say it?), there are 574 FEWER kids under the age of 18 in the hood, while the population has increased overall by about 1,200 people. This means that while the population increased by 2% overall, the number of rugrats and teens went DOWN by 5%.
Now, yes, it could be argued that while smaller in number, the levels of entitlement and oxygen suckage have risen dramatically but just as a fact, there are fewer little shits to kick around!
Everyone: meet your neighbors. Park Slope Lens aims to photograph and document every last mofo in Park Slope. Or at least all the interesting ones.
Meet Lisa. She is the owner and head stylist at Lisa Lo Bue Salon. In addition to running her shop, she does models' hair on photo shoots and is very involved at her kids' school. Lisa was born in Park Slope and has lived here all her life. She finds the nabe to be very welcoming to accomplished artists, and specializes in creating the highly specific looks that they want.
On a personal note, she completely revolutionized my hair situation!

Greg studies Bible & Ancient Semitic Languages at the Jewish Theological Seminary (photographer's note: I just study US Weekly). He immigrated to the Slope from the midwest 5 years ago. He's a fan of the Coop, but not a fan of the pretentious ppl there. When he's not mastering languages of yore, he's hanging out at the Postmark Cafe with his friends and fam. Oh...and he's pretty handy with a camera.

Meet Adam Goldgell. He's the executive chef at PSbklyn. This cookster takes your classic American favs and spins them with influences from all over the world. What does he do outside of making your dinner? Well for starters he collects cookbooks (over 2,000 and counting). He also admits a weakness for poker.
PSbklyn goes live on February 11th.
