So yes, I went to the "Purple Rain" Sing-a-Long last night in Prospect Park. And, no, I'm not a typical sing-a-long participant, but yes: it (mostly) fucking rocked.

Wow, I didn't realize that people who rent Zipcars are called "Zipsters." That's kind of ghey, but whatever.
Anyway, Zipcar is having a Park Slope meetup tomorrow night. And they're promising booze and food and driving credits-n-shit, so you should probs go and check it out if you're bored...and alone...and don't have a Coop shift to work:
We wanted an excuse to come visit one of the prettiest neighborhoods in our city, so we devised a plan: "Let's have a Zipster meetup in Park Slope!"
Come meet the people you see picking up cars after you at the Park Slope Zipcar pods. You know, your favorite fellow Zipsters!
The meetup is tomorrow, Wednesday, July 29, from 6 to 8:30pm at Johnny Mack's (11th Street and 8th Ave) in Park Slope. And we'll be there with great food and drinks to help jumpstart conversations among new friends. Plus if you bring a friend or two along who wants to join Zipcar, we'll give you each $75 in driving credit.
See you tomorrow night!

On Sunday eve around 6:30pm, Greg and I took Oliver for a walk in Prospect Park. We ended up sitting on a bench in the main meadow area, and decided to people watch for a few minutes.
Needless to say, there were a SHITLOAD of people to actually watch. Scads of folks kept walking by, seemingly on their way to some mysterious BBQ (in fact I was inspired to send this Tweet).
I had no fucking clue what was going on until the next day when I got my scoop from, where else, Brooklynian.
Come on, bitches: buy a dildo and feed some homeless people please:
