Some industrious Park Slope teen decided to throw a big-ass part-ay while her rents were away. Unfortch, the crowd got a little wild and stole some shit. Blah, blah, blah: "if Woody had gone straight to the police, none of this would have ever happened."

Ok, I didn't need to throw secret parties cause my parents were always like: HEY! WHY DON'T YOU THROW A PARTY!," but still. I kind of feel like this shit is a right of passage, ya know? Bitches just need to be more careful about who they invite.

So apparently the NYT's City Blog printed a "Complaint Box" post last week in which the author went AWF on loud-mouthed, smug parents:

"We see them everywhere. And if we’re being honest, we have all had the same frightening and ignoble urge to smash their heads in with a brick. I am speaking about those smug and uber-informative moms and dads who do their parenting in public places — aggressively and at the top of their highly educated lungs."

Cool or Not Cool: Leaving Your Dog's Shit Allllllll Over Park Slope?

Let it be heard LOUD AND CLEAR: snow is no excuse! Yes you, you lazy sacks of shit: Pick. it. up. Your dog's poop, that is.

Now that all the snow is melting, the fecal matter smeared on the sidewalks of Park Slope has reached epidemic proportions. And judging from the trail, a whole lot of you poor schlubs have already stepped in it.

Cool or Not Cool: Debarking Your Dog?

This NYT story yesterday about getting your dog surgically debarked (having their vocal chords severed) was E-V-E-R-Y-W-H-E-R-E. And, mostly, people seemed pretty outraged.

Unsurprisingly, I too think its retarded and horrible.

And I speak as someone who has seen both sides of it. In fact, Oliver has a major barking problem. But here's the thing: its not just a "barking problem"...its tied in with the fact that he has separation anxiety and is a widdle biddy baby who doesn't like to be left alone. Shut your traps though...he's MY widdle biddy baby, and its actually a really big deal for him. And the way this manifests itself in our case, is that he barks. And barks, and barks and barks.
