Park Slope Valentine's Day Resto Roundup

Where are you gonna spend the most romantic evening OF YOUR LIFE? VALENTINE'S DAY!?

Seriously, the quality of your Valentine's Day dinner could make or break your marriage. Or maybe even get you engaged if you're still waiting for your BF to put a ring on it (like me). We’ve rounded up the nabe's most delish sounding Valentine’s Day menus, so take a look and make your rezzies! Hopefully your date won’t be ruined by BREEDERS who bring their kiddos with them (which I am totally gonna do, FYI).

Now, before you get all up in arms about how I left out this place or that place –– HOLD UP. I’ll have you know HELLA restaurants don’t have their special menus online (I’m looking at you, al di la). So if you feel like I’ve totes rejected your fave spot, feel free to post a link to their Valentine’s menu in the comments!

ALSO. Something to think about on your date: The scene in Flashdance where Alex gives Nick a foot job at the dinner table.

Barrio
Their V-day menu isn’t online, but fear not –– we have the deets. Specials include lobster empanadas, ceviches and coffee crusted beef tenderloin, and a whole lotta other junk! WARNING: kids are “welcome.” Also, from Feb 11-14 you can get drunk on “love potions.”

Bar Reis!
This event is perf for the singles who were planning on spending V-day committing suicide and watching Mean Girls 2 (amazing, btw). Bar Reis is having a V-Day masquerade on Feb 12 10pm-2am. For a $5 cover, you can party in “Cupids Ballroom.” There’s also a raffle, costume contest and photo booth! Drunken pix on Facebook l8r.

Sette
Check out their $49 four course menu featuring BEETS. (Cuz they’re red!!) And for those of you who have to work late on Monday, Sette’s V-Day menu starts TODAY!

Applewood
$195 per couple, or $295 per couple if you wanna get drunk. Kinda pricey, but I guess that’s what happens when you eat shit that’s “sourced” and “sustainable.” Parties of two only, so if you’re in a threesome or have a kid, GTFO. Optional vegetarian menu a plus!

Stone Park Café (PDF)
$65 prix fixe menu. Looks delish, especially the red wine poached pear with bacon.  Also the dessert is TBA. A Valentine’s Day MYSTERY!

Rose Water
Real talk: their menu looks seriously amazeballs. $75 per head. Two words: Pork. Belly.

Tonio’s

Um, look at the graphics on this website. I WILL be eating there. Though nothing looks that Valentinesy on the menu. They added “for 2” after a few items, but other than that it’s the ushz.

Convivium-Osteria

The price for this 3 course meal is a mystery, but I’d eat the crap outta that free range quail even if it cost me a cool mill.

Miriam
3 courses for $39 bux seems like the best deal so far. If your on a budget, head on over.

a.o.c Bistro

4 V-day themed options. They’re individually priced, but I went the extra mile and did the math for you guys. It’ll cost $76 big ones...but there’s lobster involved so fair ‘nuff.

[ed. note: Here's my pick! BARK, BTCHZ! They're going to be offering $12 half bottles of sparkling wine and special Valentine's Day sausages! Nothing says I love you like a locally sourced sausage!].
