Yelp Welcomes Summer with Brooklyn Summerfest Bash!

What better way to kick off the first full day of Summer than to sample yummy bites from local restaurants like DuMont, Kiwiana and The Red Hook Lobster Pound WHILE sipping on complimentary cockails by Red Stag Jim Beam and Effen Vodka WHILE checking out the fantastic view of Lady Liberty at Red Hook's Liberty Warehouse? (and that's just the tip of the vendor iceberg, people.)

This year, Yelp Brooklyn is hosting Summerfest, a massive party with tons of great food, booze, beer, wine and music from our favorite Brooklyn vendors. The event is happening on Thursday, June 21st from 8-10PM.

 And guess what? IT'S FREE.*

 Here's how to RSVP -- which you MUST to do to get into the party!

1) Sign into your Yelp account (Don't have one? Create one - it's free!)
1.5) Add a photo to your profile. Because you want to. Those question mark heads are ugly!
2) Click the RSVP button at the top of this listing, and click "I'm In." Note: Your real name must be on your Yelp profile and must also match the name on your valid government ID. Anonymous names or nicknames are invalid.
3) You will receive a confirmation e-mail from brooklyn@yelp.com the week of June 11th-15th if you made it on the guest list.  
4) Make sure to note your guest's name in the RSVP spot if you're bringing a +1. Failure to do so will result in trouble (and we don't want that, do we?). 
5) If you do not follow these directions, your RSVP will be invalid.

And before you're all like, "But do you know how hard it is to get to Red Hook from Park Slope/Williamsburg/Manhattan/Queens/anywhere that isn't Red Hook?" Relax. Yelp will be running a free shuttle to the party from the 4th Avenue/9th Street hub, and it will operate on a 1st come, 1st serve basis.The Water Taxi will also run a special shuttle for Summerfest back and forth from Battery Park, Slip 6 to the Fairway Dock. Or, if you want to feel a little less guilty about shoving lobster and cocktails down your gullet all night, you'll just bike over like I plan on doing. 

Lastly, these RSVPs are going fast, so if you want a spot, get yours in ASAP!
