WHAT YOU SHOULD ORDER AT... is a recurring column designed in kind for your opinionated asses and our lazy asses. We're going to pick one Park Slope resto a week and recommend our favorite dish at each. Are we right? Are we wrong? YOU KNOW YOU WANNA WEIGH IN.
So maybe you've found yourself walking by Rose Water (787 Union St at Sixth Ave, 718-783-3800) and thinking, "Hey, that's an awful fancy flower shop!"
Naw man, it's just a fancy restaurant that specializes in seasonal, local foods.
The words "seasonal" and "local" usually mean an ever-changing menu, but if you're in there and you see any of these guys on the menu, definitely check out:
The Fried Goat Cheese ($12) that's made with prosciutto, figs, and honey; the grilled Pork Loin ($26) served with bacon, hush puppies, and topped with grilled peach salsa. If you want to gorge yourself, get a side of Fingerling potatoes with bacon ($6).
EX-CELL-ENT.
What's the best thing you've ever ordered at Rose Water?
