WHASSUP: Nov 4 and Beyond

I have a ton of crap to do this morning and my browser hates me and won't upload photos, so this one's gonna be limited in its wit and visual appeal. Sounds like some people I know. Check it:

*Thursday-Sunday, Nov 4-7: Comics. KingCon Brooklyn II at the Brooklyn Lyceum. Celebrate comics, meet the nerd of your dreams and indulge in your fanboyish tendencies, not necessarily in that order. Schedule and details here

*Saturday, Nov 6: Beer snobbery. Craft beer meetup at Grab with Dogfish Head. Lotsa beer. Dogfish Head will be there from 12-3, meetup group around 1. Info.

*Saturday, Nov 6: First Saturday. Remember, it's the first Saturday, so the BK Museum is free. Films and lectures happening from 5-11 celebrating the work of Fred Tomaselli. Schedule here.

*Sunday, Nov 7: Marathon. The NYC Marathon's a-comin' straight through Slope, per usual. Catch the action along Fourth Ave all morning (and thereafter for the stragglers). Make FIPS proud.

*Tuesday, Nov 9 (thru Nov 21): Theatre, music, parties. UglyRhino's Micro-Season kicks off on Tuesday. Tons of music and performances, so instead of listening to me prattle on, check the schedule.

*Until Nov 15: Public art installation. Artist Eric Corriel's newest video installation, DUMBO Underwater, is up in DUMBO from sundown to sunrise through November 15. Get info on the (legitimately awesome) project here.

As always, add your shit in the comments.
