Remember that insanely harrowing video of that chick who was attacked on 16th street back in March? Well the guy who attacked her is still on the loose. And in the last few weeks he's been keeping himself busy by attacking other innocent women.

"Authorities say the latest attack happened on Saturday near 27th Street in Greenwood Heights.

A 28-year-old woman was followed into her apartment, forced to the ground and assaulted.

The first connected attack, which took place on March 20 in Park Slope, was caught on surveillance video.

Prime 6 NYC v. Park Slope

R'uh R'oh.

Apparently a new two-floor club/lounge called Prime 6 NYC is going in at the old Royal Video spot on 6th Ave and Flatbush. There will be live music...and some sports bar shit...and they're even planning some back yard outdoor seating area. And yep, you guesed it: some Park Slope residents are ready to go Loco over the whole thing.

Now I honestly have no clue if this club is a good idea or not, however, I'm having way too much fun reading between the lines to notice. Join me!

Rape At Park Slope Bakery

UPDATE: According to the Brooklyn Paper, the rape occurred at Everybody Eats Bakery on 3rd Ave at Carroll Street.

Uhm, so file this one under totally fucking terrible: a woman who was working at a yet-to-be-named Park Slope Bakery last Friday morning was attacked and raped around 9am.

Apparently some dude came in to the bakery wearing a black ski mask and demanding cash early in the morn. After he learned there was no money to be had, he sexually assaulted the woman working there in a back room of the establishment and then fled. The image above is from surveillance video.

The woman was treated at Kings County Hospital and was later released, and the rapist is still on the loose.

PPW Bike Lane: This Shit Will NEVER Go Away

There has been a promising new development in the fight over that bastardly bike lane or as I call it, my favorite bloody horse corpse.

According to transportationnation.org Neighbors for Better Bike Lanes has teamed up with Seniors for Safety to issue support for a moratorium.

Wow cool guys, a compromise, this is very mature!

And hats off to Christine Quinn and the City Council for passing those 3 bills that made you so happy. A couple of things though: first, Seniors for Safety is hands down a much cooler name than Neighbors for Better Bike Lanes so NBBL take a nod from those sassy seniors and consider something catchier. Secondly, press releases shouldn't be that long. EVER. We get it. You tried to get data from the DOT and when they gave it to you it didn't say what you wanted it to. You've said that like 10,000 times. I mean we can sum up the union standoffs in Wisconson in fewer words.

CORRECTION: *THIS* IS THE WORST APARTMENT IN PARK SLOPE

OK, so I know we said we had a winner last week for the worst shitbox in Park Slope, but some googling/youtube-ing FIPSters have alerted me to a new contender...and this shit is BANANAS.

With a bedbugs, rampant mold double header, I think this place wins.

So yeah: if you're in the market for a new apartment, here's an invaluable bit of Park Slope real estate advice: stay the hell away from 487 5th Ave.
