I’m starting to develop a complex.
 
I get that you free and happy people don’t want me and my annoying kids in your bars. And I’m okay with that (although helicopter mom did have a point that we breeders need alcohol by 5:30 way worse than you ballers. And since we’re back home in our jammies by eight, clearing the way for you to move in from 8-2, its not such a big deal. Anyway...)
 
So yeah--I’m willing to give you the bars.

CupcakeGate 2K10: The Finale [Impromptu FIPS Cupcake Social TONIGHT]

As we all know by now, this weekend marked both the beginning and the end of Cupcake Gate 2K10.

The Chip Shop's very public failure to produce deep fried cupcake deliciousness, left a mark on our community that will not soon be forgotten.

However, today is the dawn of a new day, thanks to Allison from Robicelli's Cupcakes.

We must all now begin to pick up the shattered pieces of our cupcakeless weekends and start anew. And thanks to Allison's delivery of 24 insanely delicious, freshly baked Elvis cupcakes (see above), we want to make that shit happen for you.

BREAKING: Chip Shop Has No Fried Robicelli's Cupcakes [Or Maybe They Do...Who the Fuck Knows? Hint: not them]

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: Now, apparently this shit is on (according to @theessentialman). Whatevs, Chip Shop...I'm done with you.

UPDATE: Robicelli's tweeted me with the following update: "Called us last night and said they had a problem with the oil, so they had to cap the special to last night only. Boourns." I'm no fry daddy, but this makes no sense to me. Everything on the Chip Shop's menu is fried! So if they can't fry the cupcakes, I guess they can't fry anything else on the menu? Also what sort of "problems" could one even have with oil?? Chip Shop FAIL.

Ok, so after reading about, blogging about, and tweeting my fucking face off about the deep fried Robicelli cupcakes that were supposed to be at the Chip Shop this weekend, I was pretty bummed to walk my ass alllll the way over there in the freezing cold (forgot my gloves, went anyway), only to find that no one there had any fucking clue what I was talking about.
