John Hodgman, We Need Your Help

Dear John Hodgman,

As the keeper of all information about everything, I, Park Slope and the FIPS community at large desperately need your help.

A fanciful slash mesmerizing twitter feed has recently materialized for someone who *appears* to be none other than fave PSlope celeb Steve Buscemi. This cyber Buscemi speaks of himself in the third person, hates penguins and even has his own Facebook page! Only problem is, we don't know if its the REALSTEVEBUSCEMI or the FAKESTEVEBUSCEMI.

Thus far, there are FIPSters on both sides of the fence.

TEAM REALSTEVEBUSCEMI:

@allgrownsup (via email): "my bf used to work at Cocoa Bar and he does go in there all the time. Don't you think its weird that this person on there said they were waking up and going to Cocoa Bar? who would know that? i mean other than him, it would have to be some stalky-park-sloper, right? Ok, so then he tweets like this:"already misses his wife and son. Tuesday!!!" Like - why would a non-steve person write that and/or know if his wife and son were out of town? it makes no sense. what if theyve been out of town and he's been super bored cause, well - he doesnt have a day job, and now he's all twitter-obsessed from his iphone!!??" I'm sold, man.

XXXgranger223@gmail.com: "I have a friend who's friends with a bartender at Bar Reis and he says that Buscemi comes in there ALL the time.  And that lately he's been talking about joining Twitter, so he totally thinks its the real Buscemi.  Just thought you should know."

Uh, so far its mostly just me.

Anyway, Hodgman...as you can see, there is evidence on both sides of the equation here.  We really need your guidance and expertise here.  We need you to take in all the info, analyze it, and use your celebrity connections to drill down to the very core of this conundrum: is this Twitter dude REALSTEVEBUSCEMI or FAKESTEVEBUSCEMI???
