Japan Doesn't Give A Shit About Park Slope

Our friend is an Exec Producer on that show "I Survived a Japanese Gameshow" and they're currently shooting the second season in (wait for it....) Japan.  He sent me the above pic after his morning commute on the subway the other day.

Keep in mind, this is a Japanese person wearing this sweatshirt...not some snot-nosed BK hipster on spring vacay.

Needless to say, he's getting back to me on exactly how to say "FUCK YOU, WILLIAMSBURG" in Japanese.  We'll print up shirts soon and send you all one. Cool?

My friend was on that show and his team won $30K! The world is such a small place.

My friend and I were doing laundry at that big place across from The Door Store on Atlantic Ave. After sucking down liter of gin and tonic, I looked up and saw that show on the wall TV. I thought I was having a Being John Malcovich moment and was simultaneously attracted and repelled by the new universe.

As for representing over there, I would like to stay internationally invisible. The last thing our neighborhood needs in the IN stamp from the media so every other neo maxi zoom dweebie of the planet can move in and annoy me.

Are the trains in Japan that wide, or am I just used to fat Americans? It looks so spacious and clean. If the Q was that calm I'd go into Manhattan a bit more and not be such a misanthrope.

Oh, and "Haaaaaaaaai Majide!"
