'Grown-up Professional Sources For Herbal Products in Park Slope?'

Gawd, there are so many fucking things I love about this Brooklynian thread, I almost don't know where to start.  All I know is, Johnnyanonymous needs some help!

Grown up professional sources for herbal products in Park Slope?

I just moved to the neighborhood this past April twentieth, and I haven't quite gotten my bearings yet. I tried Back to the Land and that little shop next to Starbucks, but they don't seem to have what I need. Thoughts? PM button below.

Riiiight.

So:

1. This is very OBVIOUSLY a post from someone who is looking for some weed: "grown-up professional sources?" "Herbal Products?" Moved to the neighborhood on April Twentieth?? And then the dude wants everyone to PM him? High times, people...high times.

2. Rad.

3. After a couple of other posters call JohhnyA out on his completely un-subtle attampt to procure some ganja, the dude jumps back in to share his outrage:

If you're implying that my post is in reference to illegal activity, you are mistaken. I just have a passion for natural herbal products that are good for the mind and body.

4. BWAAHHHHAHAHHHA

5. WTF are "natural herbal products" that are not weed related? Like Eye of Newt-n-shit?

6. Then comes the best part: a poster who *actually* calls out everyone else in the forum as an unhelpful smartass (which they mostly seem to be, but still), and then offers up some useful advice for anyone in search of ginuwine natural herbal products:

You'll see that people here always aren't very helpful - they have to turn every topic into something else...anyway, I believe there's another store on 5th Avenue between 9th and 10th or 10th and 11th you can try...I know they make all sorts of juices and I believe they also have a large selection of herbal products.

7. "All sorts of juices!?" LOVE.

8. Then a moderator jumps in to reveal that the original poster's IP address is coming in from Russia....RUSSIA! A KGB joke is floated.

9. Finally, as is the case with many Brooklynian threads, the disussion then degrades into an opportunity to make fun of and/or question the motives of the original poster.

The whole thing truly is a thing of beauty.

We feel for you, Johnnyanonymous--we really do. But also, even with the crackdowns, you'd probably still have better luck on Craigslst.

Jus sayin.
