COOL OR NOT COOL: Getting Into A Fist Fight During Your Coop Shift?

The Park Slope Food Coop is really like the gift that just keeps on givin for me. This weekend I received the above tweet from my fave nabe novelist Amy Sohn.

A FIGHT?? AT OUR BELOVED "GIVE PEACE A CHANCE" FOOD COOP? Dreams really do come true, ppl.

Now as of now, our contact at the Coop is denying there was any fight, so all of this shit is purely rumorsville. But also this was too damn juicy to resist.

Of course, I begged the Twitterverse for some additional details, and received one more interesting little nugget:

Ok, now we're gettin somewhere! Two cashiers threw down! Over what? (Amy heard that it was about 2 weeks ago). Some decent guesses regarding the origin of the alleged, potentially imaginary fight also started to roll in via Twitter:

Saddened by this turn of events, I decided to consult the PSFC's mission statement to see if I could uncover anything more:

Hmm, well clearly there is no specific references to fighting. I mean, there is nothing there that states: DO NOT BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOUR FELLOW COOP MEMBERS! So I guess if this bullshit *is* actually true,  the two Rocky Balboa wannabes are in the clear?

In the meantime,  for the record I vote: TOTALLY. FUCKING. COOL.
