APPLEWOOD HAS THE BEST SUMMER COCKTAILS IN PARK SLOPE?

This week, Time Out New York came out with a list of the city's best summer cocktails, and Applewood (501 11th St at 7th Ave, 718-788-1810) is the only one from Park Slope that made the cut.

Applewood also gets props for their Cocktail Social, a monthly event series that features live music, guest bartenders, and five custom cocktails for you to try.  Tickets are $8 each and get you one cocktail each.  Specialized snack plates are also included with the price of one $8 ticket.

Has anyone tried this out?
