An Apple Store In Park Slope Would Rule My Fucking Face

Before today, I had no earthly clue who Philip Elmer-DeWit was. But as of now, I'd like to nominate his ass for the brand new (cause I just thought of it right now) Park Slope Genius Award.

In his recent piece for Fortune Magazine Elmer-DeWit brings our attensh back to a Racked post from late last year that delves into guessing where Apple might be spreading its retail wings in the BK.

All the usual suspects are mentioned (Billyburg, Dumbo, Red Hook, et al), but this dude's take on where Apple should open up their next retail store, is nothing short of Pulitizer Prize worthy: "You left out the most obvious choice. Every person in Park Slope uses a Mac. It’s probably got more Apple users per capita than any neighborhood in all 5 boroughs. If they were smart, they’d open something on 7th avenue. Most foot traffic of any of the areas you mention…"

Mr. Philip Elmer-DeWit (who also happens to be a PSlope rez), we couldn't agree with you more.

Srsly, Apple: go take your asses over to the Tea Lounge on any day of the week and count the mac lappys. You'll need one of those clicky things that ticket takers at the door sometimes use cause you probably won't be able to count that high. I barely know anyone with a PC anymore...and that's kinda how I like it.

Anyway, for realz: check us out.  Park Slope is *clearly* the best place for a new Apple store.
