al di la to Brave the Area East of Flatbush

Hey, New York City? Is your neighborhood feeling a little inadequate? You want what Park Slope's got? OK, fine. We'll give it to ya.
Over the past few months, Beer Table has expanded to Grand Central, Chiles & Chocolate doubled the size of their Oaxacan empire with a Chelsea eatery and Fonda opened a second locale in the village on Avenue B. Last week brought news that the owners of al di la, the popular Italian restaurant on 5th Ave & Carroll, will be bringing their supposed awesomeness to another restaurant on Washington Ave in Prospect Heights.
I say "supposed“ because I've never been to al di la but people seem to go crazy for it, so I guess Prospect Heights has something to look forward to. Hopefully for this new incarnation they'll hire a staff that's adept at taking out purse snatchers. After all, it's basically in Crown Heights.
So what's the deal? Do you love al di la enough that you'll travel east of Flatbush Ave to check out their newest incarnation?
