WTF!? School is *Already* Closed For Tomorrow [Also: SNOWBALL FIGHT!!]

WTF is wrong with these people? The junior rug rat has already been home "sick" for two days and now you're telling me that you're making the snow day call already????

This is outside of enough. I frankly see no reason for a citywide snow day, especially just a few days before a weeklong winter break.

Beware, BALLERS! Your kid-free coffee shops won't be safe tomorrow.

On a happy note, though, SNOWBALL FIGHT!!!!

I made the call prematurely last time around, because I didn't know that it would be another month before our next opportunity would present itself.

I mean, have you gotten a load of this? 2000 strong in Dupont Circle in Wash DC, baby. And, of course, there was that Times Square mass snowball fight the last time around...we've got to represent!

So, BRING IT ON. If Bloomberg and Joel Klein can make the call a full 24 hours in advance, so can I.

SNOWBALL FIGHT IN THE LONG MEADOW. TOMORROW AT HIGH NOON (and I'm warning you, we BREEDERS have strength in numbers!).

After, we can go sledding and then you hipsters will HAVE to be nice to me and my little people, because WE HAVE THE SLEDS.

"All New York City public schools will be closed tomorrow “due to anticipated inclement weather conditions,” Chancellor of the New York City Department of Education Joel Klein said in an e-mailed statement.

The storm may dump 8 to 13 inches of snow in New York City and Long Island, weather forecasters are predicting.

“While travel conditions to school in the morning may not be difficult, the weather is expected to worsen as the day progresses, complicating dismissal,” Klein said in the statement. “We are making this decision today to give parents as much time as possible to make alternative plans for tomorrow.”
