WHO GIVES A SHIT: Do You Care About Restaurant Health Grades?
I mean, I know we all sort of *mildly* care about them, but also: this is NYC. Even places that get an A probably still have mice, and bugs, and all sorts of other violations.
But are you not gonna go to a place anymore where you actually like the food if they get a B or a C?
42 Screens walked their asses all up and down 7th down in an effort to track and categorize all of the restaurant grades in Park Slope.
"Seems like the area is crowded with over-achievers with over two thirds of the establishments on 7th Avenue receiving a ‘B’ grade or better and half of them earning an ‘A’. Though we’d like to say that’s an excellent good ratio, we can’t because we have no context for the rest of the neighborhood or others around the city. However, if you were drawing lots on picking a restaurant for dinner tonight, you have to love your odds on selecting a clean establishment."
Do you let this shit actually dictate where you go to eat?
