[WHAT YOU SHOULD ORDER AT...] Crespella

Image via Park Slope Lens

WHAT YOU SHOULD ORDER AT... is a recurring column designed in kind for your opinionated asses and our lazy asses.  We're going to pick one Park Slope resto a week and recommend our favorite dish at each.  Are we right?  Are we wrong?  YOU KNOW YOU WANNA WEIGH IN.

Crespella has recently set up shop right (321 Seventh Ave, between 8th and 9th Sts, 718-788-2980) near the entrance to the F train, which is convenient for grabbing a coffee before commencing your terrible, horrible commute.

But when you have the time, you should drop in and stay awhile.  Why?  Because Crespella's crepes are to-die-for, that's why.

They have a ton of custom crepes to choose from (as well as assorted baked goods, coffees, and cappucinos), and while I'm typically a savor-toothed tiger, it was impossible for me to choose between the sweet and savory crepes, so here are the two best I've had:

Tiramisu (sweet): Mascarpone with espresso and topped with crushed biscotti ($8)

Proscuitto (savory): Proscuitto with roasted asparagus, mozzarella, and balsamic ($9.50)

What's the best thing you've ever ordered at Crespella?

Never been there? Mention FIPS at check out to get half off a Stumptown cold brew or a Nutella crepe through August 31.
