Titty Bar Needs Our Help!: Lucky 13 Fundraiser

So, our fave Park Slope bar, Lucky 13 is facing some rough shit. We received the following comment from "Michael" yesterday and wanted to pass on the scoop so that we could all get out there and help:

Lucky 13 has been a staple of Park Slope and has been the home of Original Cyn (the event in this post) as well as other events featuring nearly naked women pole dancing and go-going for a long time. The Bar is being harassed by the local government and local residents and is constantly receiving fines. If you want to continue to have a home for this sort of fun in Lucky 13, the bar needs your help.

This Saturday (June 6, 10:00, 273 13th Street @ 5th ave) the bar is doing a benefit help keep it going strong. There will be DJs and Go-Go dancers.

Come out if you can. If not, there are other ways to support the bar. Please tell anyone you know who might be able to help.

If the failing economy didn't already kill us and make it impossible to keep up with bills, the constant harassment we are facing from every govt department coming through and trying desperately to find
things to get us for has. The fines and now the legal fees have put us in major trouble. We can't continue to operate at such a deficit and need your help. DJs JennCity (Suicide City/Kittie) & Justin Brannan (Indecision/Most Precious Blood) will rock all night with gogo girls and awesome raffles every hour... let's make a fun time out of a terrible sitch.
