This Thursday: Swap Homemade Food and Kitchen Gadgets With Your Neighbors!
There is no doubt that that Park Slope is made up of foodies. But if you're not interested in fighting the lines at the Prospect Park Food Truck Rally or dealing with the insane amounts of hilarious drama at the Park Slope Food Co-op just to eat local, then check out the Food and Kitchen Swap this upcoming Thursday, where you and your fellow Slope residents can bring along homemade, edible treats and non-edible kitchen items to trade with your food-obsessed neighbors.
Brought to you by Bk Swappers, Local Roots NYC and Krrb, the event also includes a potluck, so bring along that famous whatever-it-is-that-you-make-dish! Prizes will be awarded for best swap item and for best potluck dish. Drinks such as locally made cider and beer are included in the $5 admission. For more details and to get your ticket, visit Eventbrite. And if you're curious to know what other people are bringing, you can preview the swap on Krrb.
[The Food and Kitchen Swap is happening Thursday, 7/26 from 6-9PM at the Krrb headquarters in Williamsburg. $5 with an RSVP, and keep an eye out for FiPS writer Vee, who's TOTALLY GONNA BE THERE.]
