The DOT Wants Your Input! How Would You Improve 4th Avenue?

Hey Park Slope-ers, the DOT wants to hear from you about how they can improve 4th Avenue. They have a new interactive tool on their website, where you can click on an intersection and make a post-it like comment about whatever changes you think they should make. Gotta say, it's pretty damn cool. 

So far, most of the comments are fairly predictable:

• a bike lane
• trees
• more lighting
• more restaurants
• get rid of the ugly billboards
• wider medians
• do something about the auto-body shops that clog up the sidewalks with cars
• make it safer for kids to cross the street 

But this one really takes the cake:

Say what?! I'm no huge fan of Mickey D's, but come on. Your big plan for improving 4th Ave. is getting rid of the Golden Arches? That's some serious sacrilege, right there. 

Got any suggestions for the DOT? You have until mid-March to let your voice be heard. In meantime, better go grab a shamrock shake before it gets taken away from you.
