Who Gives A Shit: Do you celebrate Valentine's Day?

It’s that time of year again. Everything is pink or red, chocolate is packaged in heart-shaped boxes and people are either gushing, gagging or getting drunk alone listening to Air Supply while Facebook stalking their exes…or so I’ve been told. That's right: Valentine’s Day is upon us.

In addition to eating too much Sweethearts candy, Valentine’s Day also opens the door for people to voice their opinion on what they think about the holiday.

Who Gives a Shit: Did you Watch the Grammys last night?

For me, the highlight of the show was Adele -- she was adorable and owned the evening, even though she chewed gum during most of her acceptance speeches. Her comeback performance of "Rolling in the Deep" following recent throat surgery was phenomenal.

Founded in 1887, it is now one of the largest medical facilities in greater NY with 651 beds, over 38,000 admissions and 300,000 outpatient visits a year. It’s most famous patient is likely Stephen Baltz (age 11), the lone survivor of the famous New York Air Disaster of 1960, in which two planes collided, one of which fell onto Sterling Place and 7th Avenue. Stephen lived for one day before succumbing to pneumonia.

Who Gives a Shit: Do these Slopes Make Our Butts Look Better?

Image via www.plastikitty.com

Recently The NY Times wrote about the expansion of the American Ass and how the nation’s growing girth is impacting regional mass transit planning. It begs the question: given our hilly nabe, does residing in Park Slope give us a natural advantage to keeping our glutes in shape?
