Who Gives A Shit Follow UP: Halloween Part Deux

Yeah, yeah, the kids will be cute in their costumes, I get it.  But where can the over 21 dbags go to have a good time on Halloween in Park Slope?

I wanna see a whole slew of sexy kittens, various sexy blue collar workers, and not-so-sexy Michael Jacksons alongside other more "innovative" costumes, such as Swine Flu and the Death of Print Media.

Bonus points for a place that gives prizes for costume contests.

So, does anyone know the 411 on where you can go for a good Werewolf Bar Mitzvah this year?

SPOOKY, SCARY!

[ed note: our fave titty bar Lucky 13 is having a Halloween event according to Melody who left a comment in our first post, and I know the Bell House is throwing down with some fun too. What else??]

Who Gives A Shit: Halloween?

Personally, I'm not so into the dressing up shit, though I'm VERY into all the candy...so its a bit of a love/hate thing for me with Halloween.

But according to the Brooklyn Paper, Park Slope's Halloween Parade is OFFICIALLY better than Manhattan's, so seems like we all need to get a little more serious about costumes. So, here's the simple questions: What are you dressing up as for Halloween? Or, ok fine: what are your bebes dressing up as for Halloween?

(basically, I need some ideas).

You know what to do, people, so get to it.

Again, answer in the comments (and feel free to go stealth anon if you want some priv-ass-y, but it might be more fun if you don't b/c then we can FIPS wave to each other as we pass one another in the nabe with our Kate Gosselin wigs on).

Vegas, BBs

We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming to alert you that FIPS is on vacay...in Las Vegas. Well, not vacay exactly--my ass is here for hookers-n-booze Blog World.

If you're here too, come say hi.

If not, I'll catch you next Tuesday...or on Twitter.

Kegs & Cluckers: Camp Out in NYC This Weekend

Normally, the mere suggestion of a camping trip would be enough to end our friendship on the spot.

But this shit going down at the Queens County Farm this weekend actually sounds like, dare I say it, fun:

"Come spend Labor Day at the Queens County Farm Museum.  Camp out in the orchard, eat a down home dinner of smoked chicken, pickles, baked beans, corn on the cob, coleslaw, pie, and more from Sweet Deliverance.

Brooklyn Brewery will provide their Autumnal offerings, Oktoberfest and Post Road Pumpkin Ale, in addition to the tried and true Brooklyn Lager. Your $80 ticket covers the cost of beer for the whole night. And wake up the next morning to Bloody Mary's, biscuits, fritattas and coffee."

You can even rent a tent ahead of time at Tent Trails in Manhattan if you're not all outdoorsy-n-shit and don't have your own.

This Is Where I Was This Weekend

Ok, sure: nice to be back in the BK, but DAYM that was nice too.
