[My Favorite Park Slope...]: Breakfast Hot Dog
I'm a big proponent of non-traditional breakfast foods. Fuck poached eggs. In my book, lasagna, pulled pork, pizza and mac 'n' cheese are all delicious breakfast foods. But no food is better for breakfast, in my humble opinion, than a delicious, well-appointed hot dog.
I frequently crave hot dogs for breakfast, and in Park Slope, there is nowhere better to satiate that craving than at Bark. Bark has a breakfast menu (eggs, hash browns, blah, blah, blah), but here's the big secret...you can order off of their regular menu all day long! Meaning, you can show up when they open at 10 a.m. and order a pickle dog (brined spears and dill pickle slices!) and chili cheese fries. Or, you can get a dog with kraut and a side of onion rings. Or, you can even get a burger, which FiPS recommends on foursquare. I have not yet tried this because I'm too busy eating their incredible hot dogs.
