Show Me Yours: Prospect Heights 1 Bedroom

SHOW ME YOURS is a recurring column in which we do two things: show you Park Slope real estate and tell you how much it is. That's pretty much it!

Here's our latest Park Slope (-adjacent) pad:

* Location: Lincoln between Washington & Underhill

* Type: 1 bedroom, 1 bath

* Cost: about $1,700/month

* Rent or Own: Rent

* Sq. Footage: Approx. 600

* How did you find this place?: Craigslist. We were abruptly priced out of Manhattan in 2009 and this was the first apartment we saw. We passed on it because we wanted to play the field; after 10 crappy apartments we came running back and luckily this beauty was still available.

* Amenities: Location- we’re near the park, the farmer’s market, cool things on Vanderbilt and increasingly on Franklin. Biggest selling point was the kitchen- so many cabinets, so much counter space, and a magic machine that washes our dishes.

* Who calls this place home?: A digital strategist, a student of computer science, and a rescued shih tzu.

* What's really good about this joint?: The price, the recessed lighting, the hardwood floors, management company (fair and responsive- really!). And our awesome bookshelf.

* What's really bad about this joint?: No direct sunlight or laundry.

We've said it before and we'll say it again: We need submissions to continue to make this shit not boring, so if you've got a Park Slope pad that you want to share, send photos and apartment info (location, cost of rent/mortgage, amenities, your occupation and answers to questions above) to effedinparkslope at gmail dot com.

We're not looking to show off killer design or ridiculously expensive furniture...so don't feel intimidated if your place isn't in next month's Elle Decor. In fact, your place can be a total shitbox. It's really all about keeping track of how much apartments cost around here and what you get for your money.  Of course you can remain anonymous if you want, thus avoiding all of the stalkerazzi that would likely result from your brush with greatness.

KIDDING!

MOSTLY!

Keep track of all of our past SHOW ME YOURS' here.
