REVIEW'D: NAHM THAI KITCHEN

Photo courtesy of Park Slope Lens

Today I took a little trip over to the new Nahm Thai Kitchen and it Ja Ruled!

First off, I went there at 5:30 because I have a baber and whatevs, but the place was still semi-full –– because of a little something called THE EARLY BIRD SPECIAL. This bidnezz goes down from 5:30-7:30pm and is basically a three course meal for twelve bucks! And the food is totally fucking amazeballs!

Let's break this bitch down:

MY ORDER
1. Crispy veggie spring rolls: pretty good and generous!
2. Thai salad: So delish I was licking the peanut sauce out of the dressing bowl.
3. Pad thai: A little oily but still worth the $

MY BAY-BAY'S ORDER
1. Scallion pancakes: I stole like all of them and had to buy him a jar of baby food l8r.

MY DADDY'S (not to be confused with my baby daddy's) ORDER
1. Crispy vegetable spring roll: see above.
2. Papaya salad: super good, kinda small.
3. Massaman curry: really tasty, but not that generous. You won't be going home with leftovers.

You guys, I totally WON'T be vomiting this up later. Also, my child spilled water all over himself and started shrieking and the staff were so nice and kept apologizing like it was all their fault.

My only criticism is the decor. It was like the losing design for a "club" challenge on HGTV or some shit up in there.

Nahm Thai Kitchen: 194 Fifth Ave, btwn Sackett & Union (in old Long Tan spot)
