Prank Calling the Park Slope Food Coop (And Other Joints)

We've made fun of the Park Slope Food Coop, laughed at Daily Show vids about the Park Slope Food Coop, live tweeted general meetings of the Park Slope Food Coop, and sympathized with members who lock their fellow workers in at the Park Slope Food Coop so that they can get home to watch an ep of Castle. But, oddly, it's never occurred to us to prank call the Park Slope Food Coop.

But not so for this dude.

Ladies and Gentleman, I'd like to introduce you to my new favorite human being: Eddie Going.

My new pal Eddie decided to give the ole PSFC a call to ask a few of the burning questions that most of us have had at one time or another:

  • Can I send my Nanny to do my shift?
  • Is there a "secret code word"?
  • Why do I have to stack fruit?

I for one hate stacking fruit too, Eddie (DON'T WE ALL??).

Clickity click "play" above if you want to enjoy the soothing sounds of Eddie pranking the shit out of Charlie-- the most patient person to ever answer the phone at the Coop.

But why stop with the PSFC?! Eddie sure as shit didn't!

Here's one where he alerts the staff of Barnes & Noble on 7th Avenue that an actual witch is loose in the store:

And here's one where he trys to uncover whether or not Daisy's Diner serves meatless sausage or a room where they smoke their own meats:

Don't forget about the one where he tells the guy who answers the phone at the Coop that some woman is dripping breast milk all over the hummus aisle, or the one where he notifies Home Depot that some Park Slope kid pooped in one of the display toilets.

Needless to say, there's lots more of Eddie on his You Tube channels here and here. And just for good measure you can Facebook friend him and straight up URL him here: GoingWithEddie.com
