Getting Sloshed on a Budget: Here are 18 of BK's Best Dive Bars

Photo via www.weheart.co.uk

It is important to offset the number of fancy wine joints and artisanal mayonaise stores in Brooklyn by keeping a healthy amount of dive bars up and running.

Our friends at Brokelyn recently put together a list of their top 18 divers in our borough -- the round-up includes info about each bars' operating hours, happy hour times, best drink deals and what they take for payment.

Of the 18 named, 6 are located in Park Slope:

Commonwealth (All day $4 Yuengling), Buttermilk Bar (All day $3 High Life), South (All day $3 PBR), Lucky 13 Saloon (PBR and a whiskey shot for $6), Freddy's Bar (All day $3 PBR or High Life) and Jackie's 5th Amendment ($4 Budweiser bottle)

Check out the rest of Brokelyn's list HERE.

Do you have a favorite dive bar in the Slope? (note: your grimy kitchen with the fridge full of Natural Ice cans doesn't count)
