Park Slope is home to NY's first certified Passive House

Image via Dwell.comHave you heard of a Passive House? Me neither. But, it's a thing, all right. This brief blurb on Brownstoner alerted us to a feature in Dwell that explains the whole thing. In a nutshell:

Passive House certification is performance-based, focused not on any renewable or recycled materials used but on how efficiently the building breathes, heats, and cools.

Whatever. The place is undeniably gorge, if you're into that whole minimalist look. But, come on, the most important thing is that Park Slope has the first one, bitchez!
