Local Dog Gets Viral Attention For Cancer Fundraising Video

You've probably seen Banjo at The Gate, Commonwealth, or any of the dog-friendly bars in the hood...or perhaps in an adorable viral video that's recently been circulating the Interwebs. The wiry mutt is gaining international attention for starring in a Relay for Life fundraising video. Made by Banjo (with a little help from his owner, Garland Harwood) the video is part of a campaign to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
Since the release of the video over a week ago, Banjo has popped up all over the internet, including on I Can Has Cheezburger as well as on a few radio stations. He's even been featured as far away as Portugal.
His owner, Garland, is a cancer survivor and is raising funds for the 2012 Relay for Life. He credits The American Cancer Society for the financial assistance during his own battle. You can donate money to Garland's team here. Watch the video and remember, the sooner you donate...the sooner Banjo can get back to tearing stuff up.
