Kimchi Taco Coming To Park Slope?

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let this little tidbit be true.

An industrious FIPS reader was doing some research on the Kimchi Korean BBQ Taco Truck, and came across this little interesting nugget on their website:

WHOA!

We could seriously use some Korean BBQ all up in this bitch!

And while they're menu isn't gigantic, shit still looks damn good. They have:

+ Kimchi Tacos w/grilled Korean BBQ Beef, Braised Pork, Pulled Chicken, and Tofu Edamame Falafel.

+ Fresh Kimchi Bowls, which are apparently a healthy version of a burrito minus a tortilla with a protein and some kimchi.

+ And a Kim-Cheesesteak w/ a choice of protein, kimchi and traditional cheez whiz on an Italian Hoagie Roll.

There are also some interesting sides including kimchi arancini, chips-n-beans, and spicy rice cakes.

We reached out to Kimchi Taco for some clarifcation but did not hear back. So for now, we're keepin' hope alive.

UPDATE: Kimchi got in touch and had this to say: "It's true we are coming to Brooklyn (bordering on Park Slope) in Prospect Heights.  It's really a short walk to our location/restaurant, and we're hoping to provide heavy delivery traffic to Park Slope."

Based on this Brooklynian thread, it seems like their location is likely on Washington btwn Park and Sterling.

The plot thickens.
