Introducing: Your Daily FiPS Almanac
February 1, 2012
Courteous Readers,
Do you all remember yonder days before MacBooks and interwebs? Days when the only way to get information was to look it up in a dusty encyclopedia or almanac at your school library? If you don't, then I heartily dislike you and your youth.
Yes, back in the day almanacs outsold Bibles as that other household book fighting for room on the practically empty colonial bookshelf. Why? Well, almanacs were chock-full of useful shit that helped one get through his or her day. Therefore we present to you the FiPS Almanac -- a daily place for Park Slope and all those fucked therein to peep the local weather and news that graced both our neighborhood and borough in years past.
Yours,
Poor J. Charles
