Horrible People Being Horrible to Each Other in Park Slope Co-op Building

Image via NYDailyNews.comThe New York Daily News is reporting that two horrible people, Jonas and Sarie Abney, who live in a horrible co-op building in Park Slope are being sued by one of their horrible neighbors, a horrible woman named Jane Montemarano who has lived in a rent-controlled apartment in the horrible building, with her horrible mother, Rose, her (most likely also horrible) children and one (oh, what the hell, let's just go full-tilt-boogie with this) horrible grandchild.  Oh.  Um.  Allegedly.  For pretty much everything in this post.  Because it's in the New York Daily News, and as we all know "New York Daily News" is a fancy way of saying "Not Really News at All."  Allegedly, for that, too.

The horrible co-op board of this building (and that's not allegedly, because, let's face it, all co-op boards, are by their very nature, horrible) is evaluating whether or not to start evicting the horrible tenants for violating their rules--rules which include things like not parking a stroller in the stairwell, and making sure that your unit does not smell of animal feces and urine from your horrible cats.

The Daily "News" actually concedes that the horrible tenants' unit smells, well, horrible, actually.  But they also note that their neighbors, the horrible owners, have been using horrible, racially-tinged epithets, and that their horrible five-year old daughter has used the horribly derogatory term "yucky" to describe Jane Montemarano, who might very well be horrible, but calling her "yucky?!?"  Well, that's a bit much, I'd say.

So, there's a lawsuit on file, but in the meantime, these horrible people have to live next to each other, somewhere on Eighth Avenue.  I'm not sure exactly where, but I suppose you can just walk up and down the block until you smell the cat pee or hear someone screaming racial epithets, and then you'll know where it is.

Horrible.  Just horrible.  Allegedly, I mean.
