While speaking in Crown Heights at a fundraiser for a museum in Jerusalem last night, Glenn Beck addressed the latest revival of the Food Coop's Potential ban on Israeli products.
Here's what he told the crowd of over 200 people, via The Brooklyn Paper:
“What is happening with the food co-op where they are seriously considering a boycott of Israel?” he said, likening the suggested ban to a subtle version of drawing swastikas. “When you use words like ‘I’m just anti-Israel’ or ‘I’m just anti-Zionist’ — that’s anti-Semitic.”
While most of the crowd reportedly cheered at this declaration, members of the Coop were (predictably) peeved at the name calling. “People at the Co-op are very open-minded,” a Coop member told the Paper. “I’d like to boycott him [Beck].”
