FIPS JUICY: BEST STORIES OF THE WEEK

In case you've spent all week freezing your ass off by day and reading a good book watching the new season of The Bachelor by night, here's a quick wrap-up of juicy FiPS news that graced the pages of our blog this week:

* Jay-Z and Beyoncé Rang in 2012 in Brooklyn: While rumors swirled that Lady Beyoncé was spending her final moments of pregnancy and 2011 in a delux luxury birthing suite at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital, she was actually getting her foie gras on at local joint Buttermilk Channel.

* Woman Attacked in South Slope on New Year's Eve: A woman walking with her boyfriend  in the South Slope was groped from behind in the early morning hours of New Year's Eve, leaving us all to wonder why the police still haven't caught a single fucking one of these perverts.

* The Park Slope Restaurant Apocalypse Continues: Perch. Barrio. Comida. Leaf-N-Bean. Aunt Suzie's -- we've been pulling giant white sheets over a lot of Park Slope restaurants lately...

* The FiPS Guide to the best brooklyn classes: Erica was kind enough to put together a mondo list of great Brooklyn classes for our lazy asses. Want to learn good knife skills? Perfect the art of making a terrarium? Do you just want to not suck at skateboarding? Bam. Classes for all of that stuff.

* Breeder vs. Breeder: The Vegan Wars: I highly recommend reading this article if you haven't yet. Straight from the Park Slope Parents website, it encapsulates nearly every negative stereotype about a Park Slope parent.
