Missing a leg or a foot? You might have left it back in 1870 when it was apparently common to find people parts scattered around Brooklyn. Favorite quote: "Meantime, it is positively alarming to observe how this mania for scattered pieces of people is spreading." Brooklyn was clearly hardcore back in the 19th century.
