Breaking: My Pediatricians Are Getting Divorced

I learned of a shocking, SHOCKING breakup on Friday night. And I'm not referring to Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal. No, I speak of Drs. Glaser and Gordon, my kids' lifelong pediatricians.

The littlest tyrant had a raging pain in the ear on Friday afternoon, which had us running up 8th Ave for a last-minute medical intervention, only to be greeted with an impossible choice of trying to decide who gets custody of us in the breakup.

"How very Sophie's Choice," commented a mom amok blogger Nicole on my Facebook status update.

Can I blame this on Park Slope? And who do I choose: my favorite hilariously cranky MD and noted diagnostician or the nice ones. Now, I happen to kind of love them both so I don't know what to do. I'm in a world of pain, Glaser and Gordon. Can you please call in a Rx to Neergard on 7th? Thanks so much.

Also, Meredith posted wanting to know a good primary care physician in Park Slope.

So, I'm thinking we need a little bitch and whine about the state of doctoring in the hood and who you most want to recommend for toe fungus removal, treating the flu, best bedside manner, etc. No libel please unless it's really good.

Also, I want to hear some juicy Methodist stories. I KNOW they're out there.

I gave birth to #2 at Methodist  and was underwhelmed with the staff, although the guy catching did upgrade me to a private room just because I hadn't yelled my head off LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE WE'D BEEN LISTENING TO ALL FUCKING NIGHT LONG. What a bunch of sissies.
